A knowledgeable guide will accompany you on a short open topped boat trip to the Ballycotton Lighthouse island. There you will be escorted on a brisk walk to the islands summit, into the lighthouse and onto the lantern balcony.
Surrounded by stunning views of the coastline and the purest of fresh sea air you will learn about lighthouse history, local shipwrecks and what life as a lighthouse keeper on this natural and remote island would have been like.

Please note: Occasionally tidal or weather conditions make landing on Ballycotton Island impossible. In these circumstances we shall, if possible, off you an alternative guided boat tour.
Don’t forget your camera… the views from the lighthouse lantern balcony are breathtaking but please leave nothing but your footprint on the island and take nothing but photographs!
