Cork goes Continental for Christmas!! This year there will be a new direction for the Christmas Market with the introduction of Bavarian-style chalets housing traders selling a wide range of Christmas gift ideas; tasty hot food and seasonal treats and snacks.
The decor will add to the festive feel from twinkly lights and Christmas trees, to garlands, festoons and the beautiful installation in Bishop Lucey Park.
Just Some Of What’s in Store includes vintage kiddie carousel, festively trimmed wooden chalets, round grill BBQ, Gluhwein bar, food stalls, handmade crafts, festive gifts, live music & entertainment, family fun, kids forgotten Christmas crafts, workshops, carol singing, Christmas tree selling, face painting, Christmas decoration making and workshops.
Run for a period of 15 days, over weekends from 25th November – 21st December. Trading Hours: 10am – 8pm.
The event will run on the following dates:
Friday 25th – Sunday 27th November
Friday 2rd – Sunday 4th December
Friday 9th – Sunday 11th December
Friday 16th – Wednesday 21st December
The iconic and world renowned sculpture Cow Up A Tree by artist John Kelly will be in situ on Emmet Place from November 12th for 3 months.
