On this day tour, experience the west coast of Ireland at its best. Beginning with King John’s Castle and the River Shannon, then continuing onwards to explore the rugged landscape of the Burren and the magnificent Cliffs of Moher. On the final leg of the journey stop to admire the beauty of Bunratty Castle.
Depart Cork and head for Limerick city where we will view the historic King John’s Castle and River Shannon. Continue onwards to the west coast of Ireland via County Clare and view the Cliffs of Moher, one of the world’s greatest natural attractions.
We will spend 1.5 hours at the Cliffs of Moher to admire their natural beauty and enjoy a hike or a relaxing walk or make use of the complimentary entrance ticket that grants you access to the award winning Atlantic Edge Exhibition, which displays the different elements of the Cliffs of Moher.
Departing from here, the next stop will be Doolin for a short break to enjoy some lunch. This beautiful village has superb views of the wild Atlantic coast and the Aran Islands, making it a great location to relax and soak-up the scenery.
Continuing along Ireland’s picturesque coastline, also known as the Wild Atlantic Way, we will discover points that present stunning views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. Onwards again, towards and through the rugged Burren with its distinctive features and limestone formations that make it like no other place in Ireland.
After pausing for a short break at Bunratty Castle, providing an opportunity for photographs and refreshment, we will make the journey back to Cork, arriving at approximately 7pm.

Depart Doolin, travelling via the Burren region
