Your guide will take you on a guided walking tour of the town and will tell you all you need to know about the history of Kinsale. Bet you didn’t know it was the scene of one of Ireland’s most important battles – The Battle of Kinsale in 1601 or that it was home to prisoners of The American War of Independence or that a King of England was even crowned in the town (though he didn’t last long!). You will then have free time to explore the many winding streets and have some lunch in one of the many superb restaurants.
