May has seen the first of our scheduled day tours departing, with very succesful bus tours running each weekend to The Cliffs of Moher and The Ring of Kerry. Many patrons have been availing of our great reduced rates for the month of May, taking the opportunity to travel to two of Ireland’s most treasured destinations.
The Cliffs of Moher tours have been running on Saturdays, taking passengers on a fantastic coastal spin along the Wild Atlantic Way. The spectacular and rugged terrain along Ireland’s West Coast is a joy to behold, and the journey alone leaves people enchanted. The days itinerary features a stop at Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, as well as a guided tour of the Foynes Flying Boat Museum. Clearly our Cliffs of Moher tour clearly packs in a lot, and that’s before we even mention the cliffs themselves! A lot of our passengers have known of the reputation of The Cliffs of Moher all their lives, but never really got around to going. But even when their expectations were so high, the unparalleled magnificence of these coastal views really blew everyone away. If you have never made the time to go, then you really need to. The Cliffs of Moher are one of Ireland’s most impressive natural highlights, and nobody leaves their presence unimpressed.
Our Ring of Kerry Highlights tour has also been extremely well received. The Kingdom has a worldwide reputation for its remarkable natural beauty and the good nature and kindness of the locals, but the sheer quantity of places to see and things to do in Kerry mean it could take you a month to do everything you’d like to. What people have been most impressed by is how our tour can bring you to so many of the best known Kerry highlights in one day. On our tour, you will get an opportunity to spend some time at all of Molly Gallivans Visitor Centre, Kenmare, Molls Gap, Ladies View, Torc Waterfall, Ross Castle, Muckross House, Killarney National Park, The Lakes of Killarney, Gap of Dunloe and Kate Kearney’s Cottage. People couldn’t believe what a comprehensive Ring of Kerry tour this was, and the array of exceptional sights along the way ensured everyone went home happy.
From June, our scheduled day tours will increase to include The Blarney Castle and Kinsale tour, Ireland’s Ancient Past (Waterford), The Cork City, Cobh and Jameson Distillery tour and our Havens, Harbours and Hidden Gems tour. Of course, The Cliffs of Moher Tour and Ring of Kerry Highlights will be running throughout the summer as well. If you are looking to see some of the best parts of Ireland this summer, then clearly Discovering Cork – Cork Day Tours have you covered.
