Culture Night, 18 Sept
The festival in 2014 was hugely successful and following that the excitement for the festival in September 2015 is exploding. Idea’s are flowing to the event is expected to be bigger and even better than the previous year. On Friday the 18th of September Culture-junkies can look forward to incredible art, exhibitions, drama and music when this year’s culture night hits the town. Locals and Visitors will also have the opportunity to explore a record number of cultural venues and otherwise private facilities, enjoying a feast of cultural displays and activities, and all for free. There are an expected 35,000 people to descend on the city to enjoy one of the major highlights of Cork’s cultural calendar.

Moby Dick Triathlon – Youghal 26th Sept
When was the last time you tested your physical limits? If you don’t know the answer, we have the solution for you: The Moby Dick Triathlon.
For the second year running, the South Coast Tri Club of Youghal organizes The Moby Dick Triathlon that takes place on September 26. The triathlon is a multiple-stage competition that involves swimming, cycling and running. In this case, you will swim 750 metres in the Youghal coast, ride a bike from the beach to Killeagh and return (Don’t worry, there will be lots of Marshalls and Gardai to help you in this 19 kilometres) and run 6 kilometres, in other words, two laps to a town circuit.
